There are times when you feel as if all the world around you seems to be dissolving and you are to be blamed for that. But still you know that deep inside your soul, you've been a good human being, and nothing can leave scars on the crust of your goodness.
Positivity can hang on for ever...but is there a solution to falling into a chasm with no end?
Can someone ever get away with everything just because they are louder and stronger and just make themselves heard better???
Can a person ever forgive and forget the past, when all that the past has given is corrosion of its strongest defences-its pride and self confidence?

I think that we do forgive....
Unfortunately we do not forget....
We may no remeber but there will be something, somewhere that will bring back those things we had thought were long gone..........
Sad really!
it is too deep a thought for some of my age to be commenting but from the inability to keep shut i air my opinions ;)
the world always looks for a scapegoat to blame for the mistakes. whether someone can be blamed or not is a hung verdict. as long as we do what we think is right, scars don't matter.
falling into an endless chasm is a Freudian nightmare. the easiest way out is to wake up.
strength and lung power are no match for doing what is right. there is strength in silence too. otherwise we wouldn be the citizens of a free nation today.
the past is the scar. itshouldn matter if the scar came out of doing the right thing :)
this is over dose for me.
i am right now, feeling the same.
why is it that we are the cause and effect of everything happenning on this earth...if that were so why am i not God then???
i am fed up being responsible for everything on this earth.could someone give a shoulder to lean on for sometime? i just want to stop and take a deep breath, thats all i ask, is that too much to ask???
"the way we think also depends on the way we are"....
hang in there...none of wht u hve read or heard abt being positive etc may be true, but why shud u care?...just be wht u are and let others come round to accepting you...if not show the middlefinger and move on...
but theres one fact...u will learn from this too
Lot of questions and different way to look at it....
in terms of pure straightforward life...this is difficult endevour but if you are spiritually inclined...then the answer to it is simple
its a cycle of your karma...you have to go thru it...
what you beleive is good for you is not necessarily good for the other...and this choice of your actions if you are emotional towards others will haunt you forever and if you look at it wholistically...well they do have a choice too and did not make it...
i can forgive but i never forget...:(
sometimes, giving a wake-up call loud and clear, to someone helps...
in the end u answer to yourself...so there!!
This sounds all too cryptic--maybe because of some situation that you are going through right now that you do not want to elaborate.
No, someone should NOT be allowed to get away with everything just because they are louder and stronger. One has to stand up and FIGHT it it really matters. The trick I guess is to choose what is worth fighting for.
profound questions, prats... and i dunno if there are any hard & fast answers. i think it's subjective & situational...
have seen a lot of ppl get away with a lot of things coz they're louder & more aggressive. don't think it's correct... don't know for how long they manage to get away with it either.
but there are a lot of things that i don't understand.
forgiveness will happen out of habit of being with somebody more than anything else, but forgetting....hmm.. beyond a certain number of instances, i doubt it!
I can probably pretend to forgive.. :P As for getting out of things.. you can talk your way out of things for sure.. most times.. so louder is definitely easier
@whitesnake...You are right in saying we do forgive but sometimes not forget...I think its the extent of the hurt which helps us in getting back those things again...
@stygian..you said it so beautifully....there is absolute power in silence, and also a lot of dingnity...and are you absolutely sure you are the age you say you are??? ;)...nah just joking...you sound very wise
@sahana...not at all too much to ask....why don't you just do that....stop and take a deep breath...things will perk up...cheer up
@broca...oh yes...that is so true...
@tys..Being what I am, what has been getting me into spots, I see. But yes, I will learn from this too...
@ceedy ...??? :)
Yes...Karma...the action of my past reactions! Hopefully I have done better actions too
@suma...wake up call..looks like the call was on me finally :) But yes...positive approach has always helped. Thanks
@ps...hmmm...cryptic it became I guess with the usage of words. But yes...choosing what to fight for is what makes life so complicated, when the choices seem very narrow and effects much broader. thank you..
@rayshma....So perfectly subjective and like it is always....depends on the situation. Thank you
@vinesh...the catch there was whether we could forget ..with the number ...you are so right...its the repeated actions that make you never forget.
@preethi...louder is actually a very cowardice way of fighting out your views...Maybe i'm wrong there...but somehow i've never found solutions in volume
Prats, its not too late babe. You n I should just hit the Cornerhouse! When there's ice-cream, everything else seems to just melt into that 5 minutes of bliss!:)
If the person who is loud and strong, thinks, then he cannot get away from his conscience else it does not matter to him. But the point here is how well we can treat ourselves to the situations in life - by being truthful to oneself. If someone thinks he has won just because we are quiet, doesn't mean he has actually won. But we have become wiser and stronger
@ziah...cornerhouse it is...and dollops of the cream and sinful fat :D You are right....they can melt the issues along with it...so when???
@joy. Yes, its about how we treat ourselves....and also the amount of confidence we have in ourselves...Hopefully the loud person should nto corrode the strong confidences of the quiet person...it can happen?
I dont think anyone can forget so easily. Infact when I force myself to forget, I start remembering more lucidly! Sighs!
Louder, stronger and heard better! Yes, it does seem to convert lies to truth :(
